Of all the things we love about Raleigh, FOOD is at the top of the list! Top 5 Restaurants by the Mark Steward Team

Shopping, weekend activities, and night life-Raleigh truly does have it all. However, one major aspect left out of that list is definitely the restaurants. Raleigh is bursting with amazing restaurants, modern and traditional, a wide variety of types of cuisines, atmospheres, and locations. Here are a few of our favorites, and why we think they help make Raleigh so special!

  • Firebirds

Conveniently located right off of I-440 in the North Hills shopping center, Firebirds offers top notch service with very upscale dining, but at a price that doesn’t break the bank. Reservations to this venue are optional, but recommended. The restaurant features free wifi and an extravagant menu with a wide variety of options. A Mark Steward Team favorite is the slow roasted prime rib with fresh herbs and peppers, served with au jus made in house and creamy horseradish.

  • Capri

Established in 2000, Capri is family owned and operated. Their motto is if a dish isn’t good enough for their family, they won’t serve it to you and it is guaranteed! A Mark Steward Team favorite here is the classic Lasagna! Check it out.

Located on Lassiter Mills Road, Vivace was voted one of the Triangle’s Best Restaurants by the News and Observer. The stylish venue was designed by The Johnson Studio and features a cozy, rustic, and chic Italian influenced setting. Their chef has a very seasonally focused trattoria menu, which features wood fired entrees. They serve lunch and dinner daily. We recommend you try the Margherita pizza!

Located on Litchford Road, Lemongrass Thai is a scrumptious Asian option. They feature a great atmosphere with framed art posters all around. They have an awesome lunch deal, for which you can get a drink, appetizer or salad, and an entree for only $9. Our favorite is the Kee Mao Noodles, which features rice noodles with broccoli, chicken, egg, and black soy sauce. Yum!

The owner is from Sicily, making the menu and feel very authentic. She is a participant and guest chef for the English speaking magazine for Italian Cuisine lovers, la Cecina Italiana. Their mission is to take care of their guests and they do just that! We are in love with the Linguini Fruitti di Mare.
